Tips when Riding LRT1

Riding the LRT1?
You Gotta Read This.

Don't Wear Open Footwear.

Most of the time the LRT trains are crowded with passengers, it's like canned sardines and people will most likely to step on your foot so I suggest you wear shoes that are ready to be dirty, can support your feet and not white but it's still your choice.

Have a lot of Patience.

You'll need this because it really takes time to ride a train especially when it's RUSH HOUR.

Be there 1 hour before your appointment.

Since it is really hard to ride the train, you must have at least 1 hour allowance not to be late. Most of the time, you'll take around 15 minutes to 1 hour before you can ride the LRT if you're not expert.

Know what time the LRT closes.

On Weekdays,
From North to South (Roosevelt- Baclaran) - 10:00 PM
From South to North (Baclaran - Roosevelt) - 9:30 PM

On Weekends and Holidays,
From North to South (Roosevelt- Baclaran) - 9:30 PM
From South to North (Baclaran - Roosevelt) - 10:00 PM

Be Updated!

Meanings:
Skip Train = The train that skips other stations for a specific station. They do this to avoid overcrowding, and for all the passengers of the LRT1 to ride.
War Zone = used when there are SO MUCH passengers in the train and in the waiting platform.

In addition, be updated before going. Listen to the news for some technical difficulties or when the LRT encounters a problem so it won't be hassle for you.
